AIET 2026 was held at Zagreb, Croatia successfully during July 29-July 31, 2026 in hybrid with virtual style.
AIET 2026 is sponsored by Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, and technically supported by University of Barcelona, Spain and IU International University of Applied Sciences so on. At the opening ceremony, Our general chair: Prof. Ivica Boticki, University of Zagreb, Croatia and Prof. Tim Schlippe, IU International University of Applied Sciences, Germany delivered the welcome speech and opening remarks of AIET to all online/offline participants. Prof. Fatos Xhafa, who is the editor in chief of Elsevier Book Series "Intelligent Data Centric Systems" and Springer Book Series "Data Engineering and Communication Technologies", from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain presented the excellent keynote speech before the morning coffee break. After the break, Kristina Schaaff, IU International University of Applied Sciences, Germany did the keynote speech “Why Age Changes the Game: Designing Gamification for Lifelong Learning”.
In addition to it, we also invited Dr. Kim Hung Joe Lam, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China; Prof. Jie Yang, Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Marina Ernst, University of Koblenz, Germany; Prof. Victor K. Y. Chan, Macao Polytechnic University, Macao, China; Dr. Marion Hersh, University of Glasgow, UK and Assoc. Prof. Benedikt Perak to deliver the invited talks.
